Wills, Trusts and Wealth and Estate Planning

A testator’s wishes are highly personal and specific in nature and more often than not, a standard will, living will and durable power of attorney do not carry out their intended purpose for the individual, nor consider the size of the estate where estate planning or the creation of trust may be necessary or advantageous.

Attorney consult can garner the specific information needed regarding how, when and to whom the person specifically wants their assets to be distributed, information on the actual assets available and the tax implications of each.  If children or grandchildren are involved, trust provisions must be discussed and primary and backup trustees (or co-trustees) need to be designated.

The intended execution of these documents serve to alleviate the need for loved ones to make certain decisions with regard to health and finances, and state interference with the distribution of assets. We are committed to ensure documents are properly drafted and executed so the testator's intended wishes are carried out and, where advised, work in conjunction with wealth management specialists for the optimal growth and designation of an estate.

EEOC Litigation

While employees are protected from hostile work environments and discrimination – these “assaults” are difficult to prove.  Many a time it is a “death by a 1000 cuts” and employees either suffer in silence or are wrongly terminated without recognizing or asserting their rights.  Employers will provide misinformation or a lack there-of, with self-preservation as their main focus.  Many employees are unaware of certain aspects of the laws that protect them.  That an employer’s failure to address the reporting of an incident or incidents or retaliation of such is cause for greater recovery of damages.  That even a “micro-assault” is actionable.  Or that an employee may work on their EEOC matter on the course of their employment.  Specified language and accurate descriptors of the wrongful conduct can assist in the building of a claim.  Allow us to review your case and provide an assessment.  We care about your rights.
